Our drinking water has contaminants- But sure - let’s prioritize putting up a bunch of cameras to watch citizens and help ICE kidnap my neighbors - I LOVE IT HERE!

Unfortunately, there’s still a lot around. I am captured by about 12 during my daily routine.
That makes me so deeply uncomfortable - I cannot function - it’s icky. I hate this country for turning into a surveillance state. This is wrong. This is morally wrong.
Whenever I film gigs and people hit me with that “can you not film me right now” look, you know what I think? Yes. I don’t want to film you either if it makes you uncomfortable - and I move on. I then make a mental note of the person and make sure I don’t include them in any footage.
I only want to film people who want to be filmed. And I do not want to be filmed by the police.
I do not give my consent to be filmed by any company including Flock or Axon- my privacy is being violated every single day for perverts.
Here’s what a Flock camera is - and why you don’t want one in your city.
HOW TO SPOT THEM
Tall pole mount - usually 10–15 feet high, often near entrances/exits
Small rectangular box - about the size of a thick paperback book, angled downward toward the road
Solar panel - many units have a small solar panel attached above or beside the camera
Double‑camera setup - some have two lenses: one for plates, one for vehicle details
Placed at choke points and along highways- entrances, exits, intersections, roundabouts, campus gates, HOA roads, and highways
What Is A Flock Camera?
A Flock camera is not a “safety device.” It is a license‑plate surveillance system that automatically photographs every passing car and logs:
Plate number
Make, model, color
Stickers, roof racks, unique features
Time stamp
GPS location
All of that becomes searchable by police and whatever “private partners” get invited. Police have been using it to stalk ex-partners and look up people.
It’s a rolling dossier machine. And not to be rude to enforcement agencies but our baseline isn’t working, so why would adding more layers magically fix it?
We don’t need more cameras - we need a softer touch and actual mental‑health support. Crime shrinks when people have stability - housing, treatment, education, healthcare and community.
Why you should care
This is a private company that logs the movements of Americans living their everyday lives. Once a city installs one, they tend to install more. Because “safety” becomes the excuse for tracking everyone. Because surveillance creep is real, and it always starts small. Because you deserve to drive through your own damn town without being catalogued or filmed.
No federal regulation. No independent oversight. No warrant required.
And if you manage to get one taken down, I owe you something sweet. I really do hate that camera - with the vengeance of a thousand suns. Nothing pleases me more than seeing a face down Flock camera. YUMMY.
