HOW TO SPOT THEM
Tall pole mount - usually 10–15 feet high, often near entrances/exits
Small rectangular box - about the size of a thick paperback book, angled downward toward the road
Solar panel - many units have a small solar panel attached above or beside the camera
Double‑camera setup - some have two lenses: one for plates, one for vehicle details
Placed at choke points - entrances, exits, intersections, campus gates, HOA roads
What Is A Flock Camera?
A Flock camera is not a “safety device.” It is a license‑plate surveillance system that automatically photographs every passing car and logs:
Plate number
Make, model, color
Stickers, roof racks, unique features
Time stamp
GPS location
All of that becomes searchable by police and whatever “private partners” get invited.
It’s a rolling dossier machine. And not to be rude to enforcement agencies but our baseline isn’t working, so why would adding more layers magically fix it?
We don’t need more cameras - we need a softer touch and actual mental‑health support. Crime shrinks when people have stability - housing, treatment, community.
Why you should care
This is a private company that logs the movements of Americans living their everyday lives. Once a city installs one, they tend to install more. Because “safety” becomes the excuse for tracking everyone. Because surveillance creep is real, and it always starts small. Because you deserve to drive through your own damn town without being catalogued or filmed.
No federal regulation. No independent oversight. No warrant required.
