ICE RAIDS AND MAGA:
I'll do my best to keep the profanity to a minimum here, though it's nearly impossible when addressing the moral and intellectual failures I see in the MAGA movement.
I have one thing to say in response to ICE raids and MAGA:
Matthew 25:34-40
34 Then the king will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world,
35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,
36 I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’
37 Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food or thirsty and gave you something to drink?
38 And when was it that we saw you a stranger and welcomed you or naked and gave you clothing?
39 And when was it that we saw you sick or in prison and visited you?’
40 And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me.’
In Jesus's name, I hope Trump supporters someday learn what His message of grace and mercy actually means.
Right now, you all deeply disgust me, and sharing this world with you feels like a curse.
I hope you find the reckoning you deserve.
This era of politics often leaves me wondering what I did in a previous life to deserve this?

My loyalties don't belong to any politician - my moral compass doesn't bend to whoever's in power.
I answer to something higher than this world's failures and successes.
Imagine a happy little frog, peacefully living in his pond.
Then one day, a new threat appears nearby.
Doesn’t the frog have a right to hop across the road and settle in a new pond instead?
I don’t have kids, and looking around, I probably never will. Yikes!
But I’m genuinely shocked and appalled by how many people seem not to care about the well-being of other people’s children.
Don’t we all want every child on Earth to have the chance to thrive, regardless of where they come from or who their parents are?
I am horrified. I am sickened. I AM SAD. I AM ANNOYED!!
Migration is a basic right all creatures on earth deserve to participate in.
You love globalization when it gets you an iPhone in two hours. You hate it when your neighbor is brown. Pick one.
